if the remote is in float or retract, it will log. If it's in extend, it will not log.
Do you have 3pt hitch on your tractor? You can set a trigger point on the 3ph, and anytime the hitch is lower than the trigger point, it will log, no matter what the remote is doing.
Or, you can tie a work switch into the connector on the back of the tractor, and use that to control your work status.
