They historicaly subtract 16 bu from the mn number because the central mn area is sand and drags down the average. It bring Mn down to 165, which is close to the usda average of 166. Now figure the yield can swing 30 bu off the formula number because of seed size and test weight, the final yield can be down to 136. pretty fancy figuring no.
