NEMO | Actually how much, field consistant, 200 bushel corn will be standing next to poor beans? Next to fields of PP? Isnt the reason for poor beans and PP because of waaaaay to wet to start with? I would expect to see considerable stunted and drowned out spots in fields, from wet weather earlier. That dont bode well for consistant 180-200 bushel field averages does it? Them guys up there grow corn because they have the best corn ground and the best corn growin weather, year in year out, of any place in the world. They also know "HOW" to grow corn. That's the biggest reason they will continue to grow it for the for-see-able future, notwithstanding it is also more profitable than beans for them, at this time. JMO | |
