Were you above average in precipitation last year from the middle of August through harvest? We had 1.2 inches of rain from May 1, 2012 until the middle of August of 2012. From there, we have had numerous inches of rain. I was trying to figure out if there was a possible correlation with the weather pattern based on last year. Last year, the pattern flipped for us in the middle of August and we finally got rain. I am wondering if the pattern is flipping again in the middle of August in 2013 telling me our area is going to be bone dry through the end of the year. Rain chances are slim to nothing over the next ten days, and we could use one good one to finish the beans here. We are at 42 plus inches for the year and this is more than an entire year of rain for us. It makes want to believe the tap is probably going to get turned off here as Mother Nature balances out what is normal for us.
