Subject: RE: Big jump in Iowa E-85 sales

Jefferson, SD
Locally E-85 is $2.29 to $2.39. There were actually 2 cars ahead of me at the yellow handled pump this morning and I had a rare wait to get to the pump(that could be an issue if everyone starts using it).

I haven't put in a tank of non-E85 for quite some time, I have E-85 options close by in all directions. I have noticed that when you don't switch back and forth that the E85 fuel mileage is a bit better. Seems like the chip takes awhile to adjust. I lose 7.4% on average (2012 F150) with highway driving, less difference in stop and go situations.

I continue to marvel at how few farmers I see using E85. Tough to convince the public when producers don't use it.
