I think your salesman is just trying to do his job....be a salesman. My brother and I put netwrap on my uncle's 567. It was sure easy for us, but we do a lot of that type of work too. Book came with the kit and clearly laid out the steps for the install. Took us less than a day to do it. I think we gave $4500 but it was worth every penny.
