Funny, report says in last week 2% of corn slid into poor or very poor category, while only 1% of bean crop, while markets and conventional wisdom say beans are more vulnerable.
They must rate the crop visually. We, as farmers, all know what it means when the beans stop blooming and filling pods in August, big trouble with the hot and dry forecast. The conditions report are a little behind the curve, if anyone can imagine that. |
