Not arguing, cause I really don't know.  Are the cattle (and other animals) around to eat the feed?  I'm asking because here in Texas we've shipped so many mamma cows to the packers in '11 we don't have many left here to make the calves.  Our cow numbers are sure showing in hay demand and prices.  Been real dry lately and it doesn't seem anyone is hurting for hay, SIL's family is in trucking business and their cattle hauling (to feedlots) is 1/4 the amount of last couple of years.
