What I'd do is go up to the first post in the computer forum that Tim made. Save the map of the northeast to your hard disk. Open it with your picture editing software and crop it so most of the image is of NY State with a few of the bordering state's intersecting borders showing. Then resize it so it's about 90 pixels wide. Save that file and then open it with paint and put a nice red dot about where you're located. Save that and then upload it in the box provided for in your Control panel. It would be something like this:

Of course, you could just save the picture I just posted and add your red dot to it. and then upload it. That would save you the trouble of cropping and re-sizing
