Napanee, Ontario | ive seen some programs on this stockpiling and a couple of you guys mentioned that you were doing this so i was a little curious. I see the obvious advantages - ie less need for equipment, but of course have some questions - how do they manage to do with snow on the ground? i cant help but think they arn't gonna get all the grass that your mower and baler can? We'll have 2 foot of snow (no joke) for months on end here... i gotta think the animal is going backwards fighting through that to get to cold frozen grass... i see you guys were from NC, so snow obviously isn't the same concern, but maybe other guys up more north have experience they can share? | |
