S.E. Iowa | You are not rambling, I feel the same way you just verbalized it or penned it. Our local paper puts a flag by veterans obits, it saddens me when I see it. I know death is inevitable but when guys were in a place where, here this second and 10 or 20 are gone in another second it is horrible. When whole graduating classes went and enlisted we dont have that today. I wonder if there was a crisis of the magnatude of attacking a military base like Pearl Harbor what todays class would do. I cant imagine what my dad saw in Korea he is 84, still going, not strong but as I am writing this he is pulling a load of rye seed cleanout to my sons farm. You are not just rambling!!!!!!! | |
