not at all...

that would be saying there is an even distribution from 189 down to your 143. but there isn't. only a few animals ever get the 189 (likely in this case it was one or two lots that ran through the ring), and most of the sales go thru at the 160-173 area

EDIT: take a look at the price range beside the weight range. They say that for 500-599 the price range was 150-178. That is where the bulk of the cattle in that wt range were sold.
