King City, Mo | Some of these run into some money. Some are just reference material for when a question sparks your interest.
Really like hands on agronomy by kneil kinsley, soil and fertility book, western fert handbook and the ipm quides are great. Ohio puts out some guides too and the have a great pocket quide. I have it next to my bed I think. I have books on kitchen table, by my chair, by my bed, and in the study. The wife gets aggravated about it....
I don't know much so always reading and trying to learn. It's not knowing all the answers that is important but having the ability to get them.
Read EDs blog, he has about 4 years of info there. There quick and easy to read and has a picture and if you have a question he will answer it.
There is no one book like Phil's for beans.....Iowa state does a crop scouting training day every spring but they treat beans like a step child....but it was worth my trip but your farther away.....I think Ohio state does some stuff but its a 12-13hr drive for me to get there......
There's another big thick real expensive book I was pulling data from the other day but didnt get a pic of it. Most I've used that book.
