About a year ago, Corn and Soybean digest did a series of articles on steps to increase soybean yields. If you haven't seen that, it would be worth contacting them to see about getting back issues.

Bean selection is probably overlooked. Beans will often do best in a geographical area. Study local test plots or do some on your own.

We have been routinely applying a fungicide and insecticide combo at R3, R4 with good results. Yield goals around 70 here. High yeild environment.

Try to plant early and concentrate on controlling early weeds.
