| Usually we don't start selling grain untill end of Febuary. If we have grain in storage in town that grain is usually sold at the first of the year. then we sit on the stored grain untill March or April. This Might sound stupid to some and might be a stupid marketing plan on our part but in the past we have sold contracts and got burn. Last two years we went into the year without contracts and sold almost our entire crop for $7.50 plus. not one year but some 2010 and all of 2011 and 2012 crop. We farm 2300 acres almost all owned. | |
