| No way the market has any clue about PP acres, non commercial spec are record short because they are drinking the USDA kool-aid. we are somewhere around 4 million acres too high on harvested acres..period. Now a 3-4 increase in yield will off-set some of that ..no doubt.... and yes a 3-400 million bu drop in production will matter. This is asuming we get enough heat units to finish off this crop and get normal test weights, any loss there and we are headed much higher, it may take a while to figure it out tho. | |
