Death comes to us all. Life's but a walking shadow
You may be too low.

If you take the March planting intentions for the several states affected times the % unplanted for the June 9th report you get:

Iowa 14.2 x .08 = 1.14
MN 9.0 x.10 = 0.81
Ill 12.2 x .04=0.5
IN 6.1 x .02=0.12
WI 4.35 x .19= 0;75
ND 4.1 x .11 = 0.45
3.76 million acres not planted to corn or planted and harvested as siliage?

If you assume that the lost acres from those very productive areas of Iowa, Illinois and Minnisota would have average close to 200 BPA then it seems reasonable to assume an ave. yield of 180 BPA?? this is 180x3.76 or 670 million bushels. This is probably on the high side but it still takes 500 million bushel off that 14 billion.
