Formerly NE North Dakota, now NW MN | Well, I was 3.... So unfortunately not. Our farms first crop of pintos was my 1993 grand champion 4-h project. 1/10ac. Gotta start somewhere. Not long after dad started dabbling commercially. Most of those early years 19 looked like gold price wise. If they ever hit 19 again, I would have to cut my acres to a 1/4 of what I plant now. Too much risk. Not sure how edibles will work round here in a cost-save, prevent-loss environment.
My sister defended her thesis this morn, so I drove thru yer neck the woods. Good god man, can't you guys like drift some herbicide on each other or something so not every field looks perfect? That said... Round home there's mold lurking under some perfect looking canopies. Not sure if that's as true down here. Be interesting to find out
Edit to add:back to my original question.... Got a li'l sidetracked. Are you saying we are losing corn sales to black sea? Didn't think of them as a maize exporter. What information do we have on their prospects for 13-14?
