Subject: The smart guys that PP'd

To all the smart farmers that PP'd there corn you guys have to smiling no I take that back laughing all the way to the bank!! No seed to worry about spoiling or not germinating, no herbicide or insecticide spraying, combining, trucking, drying wet corn, storing, babysiting a dryer 24 -7 , buying propane, working the ground in the fall and last you get to rest your land for a year and do major improvements to it, also less fertilizer for next year as there should be a nitrogren buildup from leaving it idial. All in all a very good choice! As for the guys who fought in mud, had major breakdowns trying to get that last kernal in the ground i keep thinking WHY!! What yield will you get out of this late planted corn 130 - 150 maybe at hopefully 27 maybe 25 moisture. And at what price low 4's to high 3's WOW now there's a nice LOSS!!!  I bet that PP looks a lot better now!!!! At least with PP your wern't losing money!!!
