You can say they are not fudging numbers, call them incompetent , say its a conspiracy. I really don't care. What I do know is there is no reason for the volatility we see today.
I don't have a problem with the USDA but I want them to get out of the projection and guessing business and do what we pay them for and use raw data and nothing else. Say what you guys want but with the technology we have today there is no excuse to be using 30 day old data for crop reports or guessing acres in march or doing acre reports in June. The system is broken and the longer everyone sits around and rolls over and puts up with it the worse Its going to get. I've probably got at least 30 more years of this crap and its disgusting to me.
