Jon if I had grown up in your world I would probably have a lot of the same thought process. It's nice to know how the grain market works--why it does what it does (at least a rudementary understanding) but when you are so at the mercy of the weather...well it's just different than "here". I have quite a bit of irrigation but also have some pretty light dryland soils so I get some of what you guys endure year in and year out. But there is no way that anyone even close to "here" can truly "get" your wariness of "counting your chickens". Thanks for your thoughts.
