I don't get that at all from the posts I read. There might be some calculating that goes on to see how different scenarios play out, but that is just strategic planning to play the game with the rules provided for us.

I see some people are thinking prices are going down and some think prices will go back up. But I don't know of anyone "cheering" prices to go down. They would have to be a sadist to do so unless they are over 100% sold already.

I think you might be taking a conglomeration of different posts and weaving your own interpretation of what you think they want as a group. I don't know of any farmer that really wants bad crops or bad prices. We have to deal with both of those at times so we discuss the possible outcomes. One of which you describe.

Whatever we wish for is not going to make any difference anyway. I can wish all I want for 200 bushel corn and 10 dollar corn and all the wishing in the world will not make it come true.

So your concerns about what we wish is probably misplaced.
