What is the Wheelbase length, 124 or 138 inches, if it is 124, wheels just behind center of bed a little, you are loading heavy enough, if it is 138 inch, needs a pusher axle THEN maybe on the extra side boards. I used to have a C-60 1974 model 124 CA ,16ft with pusher axle, 7,000 on pusher and the front end was getting light, so I put more boards on top and put a board at about 12 foot crossways and didn't fill the rear area much, just better make sure the hoist will lift it with the extra weight in the front. Pusher sure helped take a lot of the sway outta of it, Mine had 23,000 lb springs on rear, held the load up good, but was short of brakes, Vac over hyd.
