Northeast Iowa | Like lots of other folks in north east iowa I have a farm right next to one of yours and this rain in the last 30 mintues sure helps mitigate the risk. It has been a while since much moisturen and it for sure is not enough, but I feel much better in this down market now than I did facing a down market with dry fields and reduced corn yield in a big world (Ukraine.... SA.... etc) than I did an hour ago. Hope the wind doesnt followin a few hours....
Maybe I am nuts but I am not agaisnt selling a smidge of 2014 at this price. If this year is a bust production wise and the the price goes nuts, you can be sure the world (not just USA) will try again next year and sooner or later demand will lag behind supply..... | |
