| magg144 - 7/25/2013 16:29 2013 will still be a strong year for dealers, most are already deferring sales to 2014, if things tank, by the end of 2014 there might be some nice machinery for sale, we are one early frost away from another run up, and if we end up with a late frost it will be interesting to see who will stick their neck out on farms for rent with single digit beans and 3$ corn. for the record I have 2/3 of my beans left and 1/4 of my corn yet, but all bills are paid for the crop in the ground and if things tank more than they have already I will still be doing just fine. if I had thousands of acres rented long term at 400-500 an acre I might be puckering up a little bit though.
LMAO! Magg (aka "pucker"), you just do not understand how the game is played, you should be in town or at the psychiatric ward where all the bankers and equipment dealers are right now to hold their hand. All the bankers that went through the 80's have retired and gone, these guys have not seen this movie before, and they may get an expensive education. Nice to see someone who only sells what he has in the bin.
If the early freeze shows up in about 30 days, you will be standing in tall clover, and everyone else will be getting the margin calls. lol. John |
