There was a software update for RowGuide at the end of last year that is supposed to significantly improve performance.

One of the advantages of RowGuide over HeadSight is that RowGuide is a GPS+row system, while HeadSight is a row-only system. In the RowGuide system, if you lose the corn row (sprayer ran it over, drowned, waterway, etc.), GPS will take over automatically and guide you off of your last pass through the field (or on a specific guidance line if selected). With a row-only system, when you lose the row, you grab the wheel.

With that said, one of the advantages of HeadSight over RowGuide for the last couple of years has been that HeadSight has offered better overall performance. Hopefully the RowGuide software update will bring RowGuide performance up to where it should be.
