Subject: Re: Kuhn Speedrake

I know this an old post but I found it and have a question for sagebrush. I just got an SR112. It works good but it seems like there is alot more pressure on the back wheels then the front. We have hitch set right and if we crank on the spring to take the pressure off then the front sometimes don't hit the ground. We have it set for a 3 1/2' finished windrow. Also I'm wondering if it's when I lower the arms. Do you lower arms until the teeth just hit and go right to float postion and let the springs take it from there or do you let the hydraulics drive the arms down as far they will go until they stop and then go to float. Again the rake works pretty well but I'm just trying to get it adjust a little better. thanks
