yes, you can still use the yield monitor to get instant and average yield, instant and average moisture, acreage, total weight, total bu, etc. You just won't get any site-specific info (i.e. maps) to go with it. So you'll know how a field did, but not which parts of the field were better or worse (unless you're paying close attention to the instant values as you go through the field).
