Subject: Creating a tank mix on Farm Works for GS2 in 4930 sprayer

I am using a JD 4930 sprayer with GreenStar 2 and the 2600 display in it and we are starting to put our chemical rates into Farm Works through the 2600 to bypass the hassle of putting our records into Farm Works by going through mobile or copying the book into the desktop software. It's still time consuming to have to change the chemicals and rates on the document page in the 2600 every time we change crops. There's a place in the display to choose a tank-mix that says "CUSTOM" and the manual says the only way you can save a tank mix under a name is to create one using desktop software. I was wondering if it were possible to use Farm Works to create that tank-mix or do you have to buy a program like Apex to create it?

Here's the excerpt from the manual if it's any help:

The operator can define and document tank mixes during product application operations. They can be created and stored using desktop software or while in the cab. If a tank mix is created with desktop software and imported to documentation via the compact flash card, it can be selected in the Tank Mix Name (D) dropdown box under "Custom." Tank mixes created with desktop software can be modified with the GS2 display but not permanently.

NOTE: Preferred Partner software may not support this function. For further details, refer to your Desktop Software User’s Guide.

A tank mix can be created on the GS2 display by:
• Selecting a desired Product Application Type (C).
• Defining the ingredients by pressing Add Product buttons (E). Up to 6 defined ingredients per tank mix are supported.
• Specify the carrier by pressing the Carrier button (F).
