I didn't have time to give my opinion when I started this post.  Most of my problem with the "let them buy what they want" is that they will make laws constricting conventional farming based on poor or over emotional information.  I also agree that you are always labeled as evil if you disagree with trendy issues like organic vs. conventional.  And by the way were do we get enough chicken litter for 120 million acres of corn?  When we farmed with horses a sizable portion of the land was used just to feed the horses.  80% of the people lived on farms.  We can't go all the way back.


Don't be silly. I think you're just trolling for a fight. We ain't going back to horse and buggy you know that but if someone wants to eat food without applied chemicals don't you think someone has the right to grow it? I don't see any laws being passed based on "poor over emotional information". You have no more right to farm chemically than someone else does organically. I see alot more chemical farmers throwing stones at organic farmers than vise versa.
