Most of my problem with the "let them buy what they want" is that they will make laws constricting conventional farming based on poor or over emotional information. I also agree that you are always labeled as evil if you disagree with trendy issues like organic vs. conventional. And by the way were do we get enough chicken litter for 120 million acres of corn? When we farmed with horses a sizable portion of the land was used just to feed the horses. 80% of the people lived on farms. We can't go all the way back. |
