Subject: Re: Trimble FMX hydraulic steering on NH9280

Winkler, Manitoba Canada
We are running RTK hydraulic auto-steer on a 976 Versatile with a Raven open centre proportional valve controlled with a Leica Mojo console. (The steering system on your 9280 is virtually identical to the 976) We are happy with it. I doubt that you will find any Trimble dealer willing to try a non Trimble supplied valve but I believe it could be done. The Raven valve has the port in it that works with the Trimble steering overide sensor. For that matter, a Leica dealer could also supply a similar valve as I believe both come from Dakota Fluid Power.
