Subject: Forklift trailer rental?

Between Omaha and Des Moines, 7 miles South of I80

Do rental places actually rent out the low ground clearance, heavy duty trailers?

Do you have to go to a "heavy equipment" type of business, to get/rent these?

Seems to be an expensive option, if you had to have a tow company(with flatbed) move one.

{I'm just thinking out loud, If I was to purchase a forklift from an individual verses an actual forklift business.}   I believe a 6000 lb rated forklift may weigh 10,800 lbs.

I've been googling some stuff, but really haven't come up with answers. Maybe, you just have to hire the forklift repair places, to move them for someone. Again, I feel a trailer rental, would be cheaper, if any real distance is involved.(Could alter one's decision, on purchase distance, too)
