In a general sense guidance for a helicopter is the same as a Rogator. As a practical matter it's completely different. For one thing when did you last bank your Rogator 60 degrees right or left? How about pitch, ever raise the nose of your ground machine 60 degrees while spraying? I've been thru this with people trying to use a Trimble 132 for aerial guidance when set in ground mode. Trust me it doesn't work. After two or three ag turns that Viper will not be able to find any satellites or correction signal and it will be nothing but an boat anchor until it gets back on the ground and reorients itself.
