Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO | Lucas is probably more qualified to answer this from an academic perspective but from observation I believe everyone on the southern Great Plains try stripping a little to see what they think. there is no cookie cutter solution, you may try a little for a couple years and opt against it. My customers who have tried it want more and more of it. 3 years ago we stripped 10% of our acres on the plains. This year, 75%. If Clovis and Portales ever make a crop again we will be trying some there.
