NE SD
I am saying they pull a veris cart, select a sat image in their office and use topography collected while veris is being pulled. They merge this data together in an office and create the zones from the same office. After this is done usually a third party company comes in and samples the field. So in the whole process of zone creation nobody takes the data back to the field and checks to see if it is accurate "ground truthed". The growers I know that used to use the system no longer use the maps because they are not accurate.

Anybody that is familiar with veris may chime in at any time to correct me here but good veris data collection requires good field conditions.

BTW if you hire them you will never own the data it is their property so if you get fed up with the person selling it you can't get the data to use yourself.
