| You will get the best results spraying roundup in the fall before dormancy. This is when the plant is taking in reserves for winter and the glyphosate will translocate much better. In the spring when rhizome j grass emerges, it's harder to kill because the plant is in an aggressive growth stage and translocation is harder to achieve on rhizome. New seedlings emerging from seed shed can be controlled with roundup but you need to use a pre emerge also. | |
