NWND
I have done a blend of 3 lbs turnips and 3 pound radish before on pp in western ND. I put it in with an airseeder about aug 1st or so and had solid ground cover within a month and great growth till about Nov 1. Some huge turnips and some long radish. It worked perfectly for what i wanted to do. By spring i planted wheat right into it with a notill disk drill and it didnt affect anything. If you are gonna hit it with a fc you won't have any problem planting. Definitely loosened up some of our gumbo burnout spots and didnt hurt yield the next year one bit.
