You can certainly do it the other way around. Have the GPS from the 250 feed itself for its own purposes and also have it provide GPS for the Yield Monitor. The GPS signal from the 250 may not be the most accurate but is plenty good for yield monitoring. The GPS currently providing a signal for the Insight could be removed.

I'm not sure about doing it the other way around. The 250 display would still need to be present for working with the steering.
