Subject: Killing Johnson grass

South Texas
Looking for a little advice. I have a 90 acre field with a bad Johnson grass problem. Sprayed dual+atrazine pre-emerge this spring, planted milo march 8. Not sure that did much as it didn't rain for 6 weeks. Cultivated twice, still the Johnson grass outgrew the Milo.

Finished harvesting today. So now I have standing stubble with lots of Johnson grass in it, can I kill it? Normal plan would be to plow it under in a week or so. Thinking maybe I should hit it with some sort of chemical before doing so?
