Yes definitely some roll easier, which will yield better?(rolling is protecting the plant).........Take notes and see the results this fall......I have seen the same thing , but failed to document which was better....I have the dame issue with early yellowing corn. Some varities were greener than others (better roots?)........does better color translate into better yields......only the monitor will tell.....JP
