Buffalo, MN

I use it on my ground and I'm mostly happy with it. I spread my own fert with the co-ops spreader. Some tips to make sure it works well are: 1. level your field before spreading. This keeps the fert from falling into the valleys. 2. Apply 1/2 rate on 1/2 spread pattern. so on a 40' spread, spread on 20'. yes this will take longer, but you will have more uniform coverage. 3. field cultivate right away. This gets it in the ground at the right depth.

I like this process but if I could I would mount a sprayer on the field cultivator. That way I know the product is being put on uniformly and save me a trip.
