The mobile export folder only gets used if you're exporting generic files from mobile. Since you have basic as well, you can skip that step and sync it back in directly. If you've already went to setup-export in mobile, then you'll have a shape file in that folder.
If you're using a windows mobile device I'd sync it with the cable to basic. If its win 7 etc then you'll need to sync the SMSMobileData folder with basic.
