That does sound odd that you had to be down 4'. I know things have screwed me up also. Then I go survey manually and the intelleslope is correct. Lay of the ground will get you. But to your question. There is a procedure for raising the tile while in the run. It is in the manual for when you hit a rock and can go over it. I do not recall the procedure. When you raised it manual, Intellislope said it had to go deep to get back to the original survey depth. Which put a hump in your tile.
