I can see everyone's point, and that is why I asked the question, thinking that I must be missing something. R-up has become very useless to us down here. When you have to clean up what is left, and even in the pre's we are moving farther away every year from it's use. I've got a few things it'll still work on for a burndown application, but for in crop, pretty much leave it out and going back to the old chemistry programs, so I can use the surfactant that made them work.

We have Johnson grass that you can poor r-up on straight out of the jug, and it'll take the growth off, but it will not translocate. Within a week you will have new growth out of the rhizomes. We can use Select, the generic Section, and will control the Johnson grass for the season. Went back to metribuzin/sencor in all the bean pre this year to get a handle on the broads that the R-up does no more than act as a growth stimulant.
