Chris, I used to run that cobra, first rate, crop oil mix about ten years ago and it would not kill giant ragweed over about 6-8 inches. I am not targeting the giant ragweed on this field. I could probably spend an hour or two and get them by hand. It was a field we could not get in early, it is conventionaly tilled and the field cultivator missed a few as I knew it would. I am targeting water hemp here and was just wondering if there was a chance it would get the few ragweed with it. Time will tell. I figured I would have to walk them anyway because the ragweed are about 18 inches now. BTW roundup still works very well for me on my conventional ground. We run a lot of continuous corn that never sees roundup followed by a year of soybeans. I still haven't seen resistant water hemp or pigweed and I don't want to so we have been running flexstar last year and cobra this year.
