whoa partner, if a guy has correctly put in his offsets and is using the SAME base location, THEN they are ok. It doesn't matter what offsets you put in if you are surveying with one base, and then tiling or ditching with a different base station...Unless the base used while surveying and the base used while tiling are surveyed in, there is no chance that tile will be placed correctly.
