South central Minnesota | A survey is only as good as the size of the sample, kind of meaningless when you look at the percent of NAT that might have answered that survey and then that amount vs the amount of farms raising corn in this country. Trying to predict the size of the crop with an percent of the percent who even farm here. Even USDA find that they have to revise acres once the certified acres become available to NASS in August, and they have revised those numbers even later in October. So essentially take those surveys and file them where they do the most good and then flush! | |
