Southcentral WI | There are two versions, a "complete, comprehensive" plan that runs close to $8000 for 36 mo/3000 hrs and covers everything except wear items, just like a factory warranty. Then there is an "engine & power train" option that covers the obvious...engine and components contained within, hydraulic drive, separator drives, FH gearbox, and all components within. About half the price. The real value comes when you need to use it or if you'll sell the combine before the warranty runs out. Keep in mind there is a deductible per occurrence as well. Warranty is transferable. Consider the price of the warranty vs. the price of a combine...on a percentage the price of a combine warranty is better than the protection plan you pay on electronics, plus it's protection for your bottom line and your business.
