Not possible, have you ever seen a conditions report near good to excellent of that percentage? Minnesota last year had a conditions rating in the low 80's last year, pretty darn good for a whole state,we ended up with an average in the low 150's. oops! Perfect conditions just don't happen country wide and it hasn't happened this year. Benign weather makes for a good corn crop, weather extremes, no. Speculate on something else.
The worst part about farming is backyarditis. Somewhere somebody is going to have a good crop and carry the rest. I think for the last few years the Dakota's and MN have grown better crops than ILL. Iowa and MN might be bad but somewhere else will make up for it. |
